Course description

This course is designed to introduce its students to the world of programming, a world in which computers are not just toys or accessories, but tools that can create their own applications. The students will get to know the world of object programming through simple exercises, step by step, while learning one of the most powerful programming languages - C#.

Course outline

General description of the .NET framework and other technologies developed by Microsoft
Introduction to Visual Studio, menu, navigation, windows, creating a hello world application and introduction to the project structure
Introduction to C#, syntax’s, reserved keywords, data types, operators and flow control structures
Introduction to C# arrays through exercises
Introduction to collections in C# (list, stack, queue, dictionary)
Introduction to cycles in C# through exercises
Graphical applications (Calculator – first graphical application) (1 class)
Graphical applications (Slot Machine – second graphical application) (1 class),
Introduction to structures and classes in C#
Basics of object oriented programing (abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism)
Graphical application “Electronic classroom”

Basic knowledge of the C++ programming language.

This course is designed for children of 12 years and above.
